IJEEDU uses the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to support the long-term preservation of its published content through distributed digital archiving. These systems enable participating libraries to preserve permanent copies of journal content for preservation and restoration purposes. Content preserved through CLOCKSS and the Global LOCKSS Network is archived in accordance with the applicable publisher permissions and preservation arrangements.

IJEEDU also supports author self-archiving. Authors may deposit published articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal academic websites in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy. Published content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
